The aim of the journal "Regional Studies" is to present the results of contemporary scientific research in the fields of regional studies, international relations, political, socio-economic, and socio-communication processes, as well as to contribute to the development of academic discourse on regional development and Ukraine’s integration into the European and global space.

Special attention is given to the study of cross-border cooperation as an important instrument for the development of border regions, the deepening of international interaction, the analysis of interstate relations, as well as the examination of European integration processes, security aspects, and regional policy.

Given Ukraine’s European development vector, the importance of international communication development, and the strengthening of international cooperation in the 21st century, these studies are highly relevant.

Objectives of the scholarly journal "Regional Studies":

- Publication of research results on issues of regional development, decentralization, local self-government, ethnopolitics, and international relations.

- Analysis of current regional processes, including political, social, economic, and cultural transformations.

- Formation of a scholarly platform for communication between Ukrainian and international researchers.

Promotion of interdisciplinary research combining political science, international economics, sociology, and international relations.
